Celebrating World Children's Day

                                                            


     There is a special day for everything and a special day for children. World Children's Day is a day dedicated to children. I'm going to talk about how our school celebrates World Children's Day. October 1st is a special day for us. Until that day, every child in the school is impatient.




On that day we run several school programs. All of these are programs for the entertainment of children. That is, a children's film is shown for the little children in the school. The school also organizes a cricket tournament and a musical show for the senior students and gives them mental pleasure. World Children's Day is a wonderful day at our school.

                             In addition, the principal provided lunch for all the children in our school on World Children's Day. Those moments are fond memories that I will never forget. World Children's Day was one of the most beautiful days of our school days.

                                          One of my favorite excursions so far is the Sinharaja Forest. It is a trip we took from school. Let's say this tour in grade 11 with fellow students who studied O/L. We left school at about four in the morning and went on that trip singing and having a lot of fun.
